Our Studio:
REAFE STUDIO is an award-winning architecture and design studio based in Lewes, East Sussex. Our work has been recognised by the Sussex Heritage Trust for excellence in heritage restoration, reflecting our commitment to thoughtful architecture, craftsmanship and sensitive design.
Our multidisciplinary studio brings together architects, architectural designers, interior architects, retail designers, graphic designers, product designers, illustrators and artists. Working across residential architecture, heritage conservation, interior architecture, retail design, branding and product design, we create distinctive spaces, brands and products that are both commercially intelligent and beautifully resolved.
Located between Brighton and London, and surrounded by the ancient landscape of the South Downs National Park, our work is informed by a deep appreciation of landscape, materials, craftsmanship and context. We believe every project should respond to its setting, celebrate its history where appropriate, and improve the way people live, work and experience the spaces around them.
Whether restoring a Grade II* listed building, designing a flagship retail environment, developing a new brand identity or creating bespoke furniture and products, our approach remains the same: thoughtful, collaborative and meticulously detailed. From initial concept through to technical design and delivery, we work closely with our clients to create enduring design solutions that balance creativity, functionality and commercial value.

The Founder: Anthony Walsh
Anthony is a trained, multi-talented designer with a genuine passion for design. He has 25 years’ experience working across architecture, retail, interior, furniture and product design, on projects for individual & major clients such as John Lewis & Partners, Selfridges, the BBC and Harrods. Your point of contact, he is involved in projects at every stage, carefully balancing the relationship between creativity and technical design to deliver a strong design vision. He is a great communicator and believes in reducing complexity to establish clear ways of working.
